Tourist Visa

China Tourist Visa / China Visit Visa (L Visa) is issued to an individual who plans to travel to China for sightseeing or visiting family or friends or for other personal purposes.

Mail Package Checklist:

1. Your current ORIGINAL Passport
   • Your ORINGAL passport  must be valid for at least six months before it expires and have at least ONE blank VISA page (the last three pages don't count since they are amendment pages).
   • For applicants who are China-born US citizens,
     • If you have previous Chinese visa ON THE SAME CURRENT US PASSPORT, please make a copy of that VISA page.
     • If you renewed your US passport before, you need to send a copy of your old Chinese VISA page.
     • If you are the first time apply a China visa after you become a US citizen, you need to send the last ORIGINAL China passport.
   • For any applicant that's under 18, you need to conclude the copy of his/her birth certificate and the copy of BOTH parents' passport photo page and one parent's driver license copy. 
   • 如果是在美国出生的中国公民的孩子(18岁以下)，如果父母双方现已都持美国护照或双方都已获得美国绿卡，孩子需办签证，可代理。需附上：出生纸复印件， 父母双方美国护照照片页和父母一方的驾照复印件。
   • 如果父母双方尚有一方未持美国护照或者中国出生的一方尚未取得美国绿卡，孩子需办旅行证，不可代理。父母双方必须本人亲自带孩子到所属辖区使领馆办理旅行证件。
     
2. Copy of your passport photo page
3. Copy of his/her driver license or state ID card or utility bills.
4. Complete China Visa Application Form(s)
   • Please download 2011 Edition the "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (Form v.2011A)*. Please follow Instruction.V.2011A.
   • If you're NOT a US passport holder, please download and use computer to fill "Visa Application Form of the People's Republic of China" (Form V.2011B)*. Follow Instruction.V.2011B.
   • The Application Form(s) must be fully completed on a computer and clearly printed out ONLY except question 1.3 and the signature and date should be hand written. Altered or hand-written forms are not acceptable.
   • All the forms should be typed in by Capital English letters. Please answer EVERY question, and do NOT leave any blanks. For the questions which are not applicable, please put "N/A".
5. One (1) color passport Photos with white or light background  
   • Homemade Digital Photographs are not acceptable!
6. Trip Related Information (You need to submit at least 1 of the 2 items below, after Aug.1 2012):
   • (I) Flight itinerary / copy of the e-ticket + Reservation of hotel in China. BOTH need to be shown the applicant's FULL name!
   • (II) Invitation letter + Inviter's Chinese ID card (身份证) copy 
     • The inviter MUST be a China mainland citizen.
     • The invitation letter (I'd like to see the sample!) MUST including the following information:
       • (1) Invitee information (applicants): name, gender, date of birth;
       • (2) Trip information: enter date, departure date, purpose of visit, cities going to visit, relationship with inviter, who will pay for the trip;
       • (3) Inviter's information: name, phone, address, signature and date.   
7. Complete Order form
   • Please fill and print order form from here*.
8. Supporting documents needed for Non-US Citizens
   • Green Card holder must mail the original AND the copy of your green card.
   • OR the copy of your working permit in US, I-20, valid US visa or other additional documents.

• Fill out Wooee order form
• Prepare the documents you need based on the checklist (pay to "Wooee Visa")

Note:

• If you request Express or Same Day service, the application package must be received by 9:30 am.
• For safety concern, signature confirmation is highly recommended for documents delivery. If you choose to ship your documents without a signature confirmation, we are not responsible for any lost documents.
• Uncompleted or inaccurate application form can cause the delay or denial of visa application.
