L Visa (pure tourist purpose: sightseeing for up to 60 days for each entry):

Q2 Visa (personal affairs regarding Chinese citizens: short term visit Chinese family members for up to 180 days for each entry):

please provide Personal Invitation Letter (sample) + Chinese ID card (身份证) BOTH SIDES (front and back sides) copies.

S2 Visa (personal affairs regarding NON-Chinese citizens: short term visit foreigner residing in China due to work, study or other reasons for up to 90 days for each entry):

please provide Personal Invitation Letter (sample) + Inviter's Passport copy + Inviter's Chinese visa page copy + Inviter's Chinese Residence Permit page + relationship proof copy.

For US citizens, if you need to apply for a 10 years Chinese Visa, your passport must have 12 months validation and 2 blank VISA pages. The last 3 pages don't count because they are amendment pages.

You MUST choose the correct China Embassy / China Consulate FIRST in order to start your application.

Specifically, when you are filling out the online application form:

1. your name must be identical with your passport:

• Family Name is the Surname: 1^st line of your US passport;
• Given Name is your first and middle name: 2^nd line of your US passport! Your Middle name must shown here! Not just your first name.

2. For your Education and Work Experience:

• Section 3 Working Experience: Please do include "Position" and "Duty"! Those two cannot be blank.
• Section 4 Education: "Major" must be included. If no major, please put "general study".  

BEFORE clicking the "SUBMIT" button, STOP ON REVIEW PAGE! Do NOT submit!

Please email us the Application ID and copy of your passport, and item 3-4 in ONE email FIRST (not in separate emails!) to make sure no changes need to be made, since once submitted, you cannot modify it. We will review your online application, submit, then email you the complete pdf version of your online application form for you to sign, as well as a simplified documents checklist for your case.

Important: 

Printing Instructions for application material:

• Please print the cover barcode confirmation page on 1-page to make sure the signature section is on the same page with the barcode section!
• For all application material, including the 10-page online application print-out, NO both-side printing allowed!
• Please make sure the right top small barcode and the bottom page number are all shown on each page! If some part of the page is not shown, please shrink the printing percentage from 100% to 95% or 90%, or for some printer, it has the "shrink to printable area" option, then you can have everything printed out. 
• For adults: Don't forget to sign, in ink, both cover barcode page, and the last page (section 9.1A in the middle, NOT 9.2!!) of your application form! No Digital signature will be accepted.
• For minors: parent need to sign your name and child's name at 3 places: barcode page bottom, section 9.1 AND section 9.2!

Final Application Package of China L/Q2/S2 Visa that you need to mail to/drop off at our office:

1. Signed online COVA Visa Application Formprint-out (No both-side printing allowed!) with signed Barcode cover page: the barcode confirmation page must be printed on 1-page!
2. ORIGINAL Passport and a copy of your passport photo page
   • Your ORINGAL passport  must be valid for at least 6 months before it expires and have at least TWO blank VISA page .
   • For US citizens: if you need to apply for a 10 years Chinese Visa, your passport must have 12+ months validation and 2 blank VISA page

3. Copy of your current 10-year or last Chinese visa page in your current/latest US passport, and the passport photo page. If it's in a different passport (BOTH original passports needed to be submitted!) 

4. Copy of your driver ID (both sides) or state ID. For minors: copy of Birth Certificate and one parent DLs.
5. One 2*2 photos on white background (Homemade Digital Photographs are not acceptable!)
6. Where you stay form (Download)
7. Order Form (section I) and payment (last section ONLY, check to Wooee Visa LLC, or zelle to 832-455-2401, Wooee International LLC, or credit card with 5% surcharge)
8. If applied, Statement: "insist of applying for a new 10-year visa" in HAND-WRITING and sign please! (I know old 10-year visa good to use, I insist of applying for a new one, $140 Consulate fee no problem. Sign and date. )
9. If any, Trip Related Information (You need to submit the documents SET of 1 of the 2 options below):
   • (option 1) Flight itinerary / copy of the e-ticket + Reservation of hotel in China mainland, under the applicant's name!
   • (option 2) Invitation letter + Inviter's ID (身份证) BOTH SIDES (front and back sides) copies 
     • The inviter's ID: please refer the top of this page (L, S or Q visa) to determine the exact requirements.

10. If you are currently self-employed, please complete the Job Description form, to describe in detail what you do and in which industry your work is!
11. If you were born in Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, etc., even you are holding a US passport now, please complete the Additional Info form and provide a copy of your personal resume.
    Copy of your last Chinese visa, if any. 
12. For Non-US Citizens: the copy of your green card OR your working permit in US, I-20, valid US visa or other legal documents. B1/B2 US visa holders cannot apply China VIsa inside the States. 
13. For minor (under 18 years old) 1st time applicant: copy of Birth Certificate and copies of both parents passports photo pages are required. If not the 1st time applicant, a copy of old China Visa needed.
14. For 1st time Visa applicants who previously was Chinese citizens (including China mainland, Hong Kong,  and Taiwan): last ORIGINAL Chinese passport, 2 copies of the photo page, and a copy of Naturalization Certificate are required. If you have changed your name, please include a copy of the court record (Petition for Name Change) and/or Marriage License.
15. 对于第一次办理中国签证的申请者，是在美国出生的现/曾中国公民的孩子(18岁以下)： 如果在孩子出生的那一刻，父母一方持美国绿卡，或双方都已经持非中国护照，孩子需办签证，可代理。需附上：出生纸复印件， 父母双方护照照片页and/or绿卡复印件。不属于这两种情况的，请电话咨询(832-455-2401)应办签证，还是通过“中国领事APP”办理旅行证。
16. 对于第一次办理中国签证的申请者，是在中国出生的孩子(18岁以下)：
    • 如果孩子有（过）中国护照，请提交最后一本中国护照的原件+出生证复印件+父母双方护照复印件;
    • 如果孩子没有过中国国籍（e.g. US Oversea Birth Certificate公民海外出生证），请提交海关出境通行证原件+出生证复印件+父母双方护照复印件.

Note:

1. For Expedite China Visa Services:

·         Please ensure we receive your package BEFORE 10:30am, Otherwise, a 1-day delay is possible. Fedex Priority Overnight 10:30 am delivery is recommended. Do NOT use Fedex First Overnight, since the driver would come on 6 am  or 7 am while nobody is here. 

·        Please ensure you have at least 2 blank VISA pages on your passport (The last 3 pages do not count! They are amendment pages and can NOT be used for visas).

2. 对原籍中国 (出生地为大陆、台湾、香港、澳门) 的申请者， 及其非中国出生的配偶和直系血亲子女，或者现在仍是中国公民，但其配偶或直系血亲子女是美国公民的申请者，请注意您的材料准备：

·         如您寄过来的美国护照上有中国签证，请复印最后一张签证，并和您的申请表等其他材料一同寄来；

·         如您寄过来的美国护照上没有任何中国签证，且您曾签过中国签证，请附上旧中国签证的复印件；

·         如您是入美籍之后第一次回国，请务必把最后一本中国护照原件寄来和入籍纸的复印件(如果您最后一本中国护照的失效日期在您 US Passport 生效日期之前，请致电咨询，因可能要求其他特殊材料！), 否则使领馆将不予受理签证申请；出生地为港澳的申请人请附上以前港澳ID的copy；出生地为台湾的申请人请附上以前台湾护照或台湾出生证的copy；

·         如您是入美籍之后第一次回国，从未办过中国签证，亦没有中国护照原件，或者曾签过中国签证，但不在即将寄来的护照上，而且找不到旧签证复印件，请去使领馆面签。

3. 原籍/现籍中国人的非中国出生的美籍配偶或子女，除以上材料外，还需准备：

·         配偶需结婚证复印件 + 原籍/ 现籍中国人配偶的：美国护照照片页复印件或中国护照照片页复印件及其在美绿卡，签证，或I20等复印件；

·         子女需出生证复印件 + 父母（双方）的美国护照照片页复印件或中国护照照片页复印件及其在美绿卡，签证，或I20等复印件；

·         如原籍/现籍中国人现护照上的名字和结婚证或出生证上名字不完全一致的，请附上更名纸的复印件。
